Reflecting on how often I get it backwards when it comes to choosing me and putting self care as a priority. How often I say there is just too much to do today or this week or this month to truly take care of me.

I am also finding it is one of the biggest reason women choose not to start my journaling course “right now” when I share it. This season is just too busy.

My proposal is,

What if creating more space for you brings more clarity, direction and efficiency to the rest of your life?

What if choosing you first means you find more joy in the other things you do and you actually create more space in your schedule because you are less crowded by the thoughts in your head that distract you from being productive?

I dare you to put you first and see what happens.

Do you know what putting yourself first looks like??? Like, not just checking the box that you are eating a healthy meal or you read your Bible today. When was the last time you created space to JUST BE and ask yourself what truly brings you joy, rest and restoration??

Another beautiful night spent with ladies so open to discovering more about the incredible women they are.

I’m witness to this beautiful shift, transformation of what they are choosing for themselves. I’m inspired and honored to be apart of it.

The truth is I need this just as much as they do. Somehow I continue to fill these journaling pages even when I’ve experienced this time and time again. We get to choose to move forward in growth daily, it’s a practice vital to our health just as much as drinking water. I’m so thankful for these women and to the Lord who has taken me on this journey and that I’ve choosen into what he has put on my heart so that others can experience it too.

Come join me so we can inspire each other to live in purpose and passion in our daily lives.

My dear friend and family childcare provider Carol Von Brandt has lost her home and childcare business in the recent fire. She has served this community for over 40 years loving on children and parents creating a unique nurturing environment for children to flourish in.
