In case you missed it… this summer ☀️, our very own Larry Noble from the transportation department 🚌 placed first 🙌 in the National School Bus Training and Inspection Challenge at STN Expo Reno!! 👏

Congratulations to Larry Noble from and Benjamin Ortiz from on their first and second place finishes in the National School Bus Training and Inspection Challenge at STN Expo Reno!

As part of STN’s National School Bus Inspection Training, technicians spent the day at the outstanding facilities of participating in hands-on instruction covering high voltage safety, interior, exterior, and under hood inspections before putting their skills to the test in a friendly competition to identify the most vehicle defects.

More than 40 technicians participated in the hands-on training, with 14 competitors advancing to the inspection challenge. Events like these reinforce the value of practical, real-world training while recognizing the skill and professionalism of today’s school bus technicians.

ATL is proud to support opportunities that help school bus technicians strengthen their skills, build confidence, and share best practices with peers from across the country.

Congratulations to all of the technicians who participated and represented their districts so well!

We have officially kicked off the 2026-27 school year! This morning, we held our traditional All-Staff Meeting and were thrilled to welcome our new staff members, congratulate our newly permanent certificated staff, and honor our incredible team members celebrating 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years of dedicated service!
A big thank you to our guest speaker, Trudy Arriaga, for sharing her valuable time and wisdom with us! We wish our entire school community an amazing year ahead!
