This endorsement means an incredible amount to me.

I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Moms for Liberty, to the Shasta County Chapter, especially Katie Gorman, and to Sylvia Sorenson of Amador County for their confidence in me and my campaign for El Dorado County Office of Education Trustee Area 2.

Moms for Liberty’s mission is centered on uniting, educating, and empowering parents to defend their parental rights and ensuring that parents have a meaningful voice in their children’s education.

That mission is deeply connected to why I am running.

Our children are the future. They are tomorrow’s leaders, tomorrow’s parents, tomorrow’s workers, and tomorrow’s community members.

We owe them more than simply moving them from one grade to the next.

We owe them an education that gives them the foundation, knowledge, skills, confidence, and preparation they need to successfully take the next step in life.

Whether that next step is the next grade, graduation, college, a career, a trade, or becoming a responsible and engaged member of their community — we should be preparing students for what comes next.

And parents deserve a seat at that table.

I believe we can keep our focus on what truly matters: student achievement, parental involvement, educational accountability, transparency, and preparing our children for the future.

Receiving this endorsement is not something I take lightly. It is an honor, but it is also a responsibility — a responsibility to continue listening, continue learning, and continue standing up for the children and families of El Dorado County.
