Hibernating for a bit in order to structure and organize. In 2023 I’ll be bringing opportunities for kids and families to learn, participate locally in farming! Really cool things in the works.
Happy New Year!

🌱Hey best friend!
There’s a field trip opportunity at a local farm spot in downtown Redding!
The Garden of Hope has offered to host a field trip to have all of our kids out to learn about soil seed and harvest.
I’m going to work closely with the team there to build out a curriculum and an art concept to have a 2 hour workshop for our littles.
Please comment below if you want to see a regular monthly farm exposure for your kids.

Hello! This group is going to be changing.
I will change the title and the dynamic will be changing to serve a more broad aspect of homeschooling OR school aged families.
There’s no niche that can serve everyone and I hope to expand community going forward.

We don’t homeschool to “do it better” than traditional schools.
We aren’t wild and free because we are all nature enthusiasts.
We choose this way of life, day after day, because we long to restore wonder.
Because reclaiming childhood is a return to simplicity.
Because too much, too soon, too fast overwhelms the nervous system.
Because slow and steady is proven over furious and fast-paced.
Because learning happens in the context of a calm and connected home.
Because in saving childhood we secure a future in which they can flourish. xo Ainsley
