Mountain View families - don’t forget to complete your Household Income Data Collection Form (Meal Waiver Form)! Every student with a completed form is automatically entered into our HUGE prize drawing! 🎉

📚💚 Back to School Night is TOMORROW! 💚📚

Join us Tuesday, August 18 from 5:30–6:30 PM for MVMS Back to School Night!

You’ll start the evening in your student’s 1st period class, then follow their schedule throughout the evening to meet their teachers and get a feel for their school day. Students will be given a blank schedule to fill out so families know exactly where to go.

🍧 BONUS: Kona Ice will be there, too!

We’re kicking off the school year with our Back-to-School Backyard Bash • Welcome to the Jungle! 🎉

📅 Friday, August 21
⏰ 6:00–8:30 PM
🎟️ $15
Your ticket includes 🌭 Jungle Dogs, 🍧 Rainforest Snow, 🎶 DJ Brody, 📸 photo booth fun, backyard games, and a special appearance by the Mountain View Panther! 🐾

🔎 NEW THIS YEAR: THE JUNGLE CHALLENGE!
Every student will get a Jungle Challenge Passport with scavenger-hunt-style challenges to complete throughout the night. Finish the passport and earn 20 Panther Tickets for chances to win raffle prizes!

And keep your eyes open… 👀 There will be hidden jungle animals waiting to be found for even more prizes!

🎟️ Students can collect Panther Tickets throughout the night for raffle chances and everyone gets one just for showing up!

Snack bar + Panther Punch will also be available for purchase.

💚 Our first PAC meeting of the 2026–2027 school year is this Thursday!

We’re squeezing in a quick first meeting before the school year gets into full swing so we can get a jump start on some of the events and activities coming up!

Whether you’ve been involved with PAC before, are brand new to Mountain View, or are just curious about what we have planned, everyone is welcome and children are always welcome too!

We’ll meet our new board members, go over our calendar of events, and start planning some of the fun ahead including the Backyard Bash, Color Run, Halloween Dance, swag, and more.

✨ And something NEW this year: we’re planning a CAASPP Reward Event! We’d love your ideas and input as we get it started.

After this meeting, our regular PAC meetings will be held on the first Thursday of each month at 3:30 PM. 💚

No commitment required. Come when you can, bring your ideas, and be part of the conversation.

We can’t wait to welcome our Panthers back to campus!

A few things to know before you come:

🐾 5th grade class lists will be posted outside the 5th grade classrooms.
🐾 6th–8th grade schedules will be passed out starting at 2:00.
🐾 There will not be any schedule changes unless there is an error in the student’s schedule.
🐾 Free planners will be available for students to pick up.
🐾 Need a campus tour? Head to the office during Meet & Greet.

And be sure to stop by the PAC table! 💚 Fill out the Meal Waiver form to be entered into our drawing for over $2,500 in prizes! 🎉

MVMS PAC has teamed up with the District Office to encourage ALL families to complete the Household Income Data Collection Form (formerly the Meal Waiver Application). This confidential form is incredibly important and helps bring funding to our school. Whether you think you qualify or not, please take a few minutes to complete it! Only ONE form per household is needed.
