We are so excited to invite you and your family to our Halloween Spooktacular, an event specifically designed for children with special needs. As a special needs mom myself, I understand how challenging it can be to find inclusive events where everyone feels welcome and comfortable. This event is all about creating a fun, safe, and sensory-friendly environment for our kiddos to enjoy the magic of Halloween!

What is SELPA?
SELPA is an acronym for a Special Education Local Plan Area. It is a group of school districts, charter schools, and County Offices of Education who provide special education and related services to students with disabilities.

Here is Ray, our Director of the MVJPA. He is hard at work, recruiting for staff for the upcoming 2024/2025 school year.

The Shasta SELPA Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is sponsoring a Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23rd, tailored for all students aged PreK to 22 with special education needs.

The egg hunt will be held at the Shasta County Independent Study campus located at 3711 Oasis Road in Redding - rain or shine!!
