Personal hygiene is one of those life skills that grows little by little.

Summer is a great time to help children build routines they'll carry into the school year.

A few simple reminders can go a long way:
- Wash hands for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating.
- Brush teeth twice a day, even when summer schedules change.
- Practice covering coughs and sneezes with an elbow instead of hands.

Small habits practiced every day help children become more independent and confident.
