As we wrap up another amazing school year, we want to send a HUGE thank you to all of our students, families, teachers, staff, and volunteers for your support, encouragement, and time throughout the year! 💙✨

From fun events and fundraisers to celebrations and everyday moments, none of it would have been possible without our incredible school community. Thank you for helping make this year so special!

As we begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year, we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help lead our PTA committees. If you know someone who would make a great committee chair — or if you would like to get involved yourself — we encourage you to submit a nomination!

The teachers got to enjoy beef and chicken fajitas from Taqueria Santoyo as our way of showing our appreciation.

Thank you DT Shields Elementary PTA for the delicious luncheon today! It was so yummy, but even more special because of the kind volunteers who took their time to serve the staff!

Field day is tomorrow!

If you ordered a shirt, they were delivered to the teachers late yesterday and should be making their way home today.

If you ordered concession stand cards, they will be given to the teachers today to hold onto until their concession stand time tomorrow. Concession stand cards can be purchased tomorrow. Each card is $5.

Don't forget that Kona Ice will be on campus and is separate from the concession stand.

There is still time to sign-up to volunteer.
