Congratulations to the Red Oak High School Jazz Band on a great performance at the SWIBA jazz competition in Atlantic.

Special shout outs to Gillian Heim and Pablo Villanueva on their Outstanding Soloist awards.

Also shout out for Pablo Villanueva and his performance with the SWIBA 1A/2A Honor Jazz Band.

Great job today by the Tiger Marching Band in Glenwood. The TMB took 3rd place in 2A prelims and 4th place overall in Finals.

Great job and performances today by the Tiger Marching Band. We received 2nd place in parade and 2nd place in the field show at the Southwest Iowa Band Jamboree in Clarinda. We also took home Outstanding Drum Major and Outstanding Soloist awards. Great job Tigers!

We are kicking off our fundraising for this year. We are aiming to raise funds for music, competition fees, honor bands, and to assist in the purchase of concert dress wear for our students. Please support the Red Oak Tiger Bands and Fine Arts Programs.

Red Oak jazz band had a great performance today at the Council Bluffs Jazz Festival. After we had a great clinic and then made the run home for tonight's musical.

Come on out next week on Thursday 3/7 at 7pm to watch the Jr High and High school jazz bands perform.

Congratulations to the Red Oak High School Jazz Band on a great performance and return to the SWIBA competitive jazz circuit yesterday. The jazz band made a strong return to the jazz competition circuit with Pablo Villanueva taking an outstanding soloist award.

Next Saturday, March 2nd, Red Oak will be competing at Abraham Lincoln in the Bluffs Jazz fest. If you are free, come out and support and then swing back to Red Oak to support these amazing students in a performance of Suessical at the High School.

Congratulations to Jonah Wemhoff for being selected as the Outstanding Performer in his center at the Iowa High School Music Association’s Solo and Small Ensemble Festival hosted at Red Oak on April 1st.

Jonah performed his solo accompanied by Linnea Wemhoff at The Outstanding Performance Showcase in Ames, Iowa this morning.

Congratulations to our middle school band for receiving a Division 1, Superior Rating at The 37th Annual Richard Simpson Middle School Festival! This is culmination of months of hard work from students and directors, and we are incredibly proud of the music we made together today!
