The necklace does have someone’s loved ones ashes in it and we know that it is something that is near and dear to someone. If either of these belong to you, please call the school or come by 730-430 Mon-Thurs. we would like to get these to their owners! Thank you!

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and mourning the U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the United States armed forces. It is observed on the last Monday of May.

Red Oak ISD remembers and honors those who have served and died protecting our freedoms. We thank you, and your families, for your sacrifice.

It is with extremely heavy hearts that the Red Oak Cheer Booster Club acknowledges the unimaginable loss of Red Oak Cheer Alumna, Courtney.

Courtney will always be a part of the Red Oak Cheer family, and her impact, spirit, and memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

During this incredibly difficult time, we extend our deepest love, prayers, and condolences to Principal Sherqueena Jackson, Courtney’s family, friends, teammates, and all who are grieving this tremendous loss.

There are simply no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so deeply loved, but we hope the family finds comfort in knowing that the Red Oak Cheer community stands beside them with unwavering love, support, and prayer.

Please continue to lift the Jackson family up in prayer in the days and weeks ahead.

Today the district celebrated our amazing ROMS Black Hawks, Katie Eaton and Hannah Schwieger! We have the best Black Hawk staff! Thank you for all that you two do to make our campus life better for students and staff!

BLACK HAWKS!!!!!!!! Our very own Officer Young won this amazing award today! 👮‍♂️ POLICE OFFICER OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so so proud of you and are excited that you were the one selected! All of your hard work and dedication to our campus and district events doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you so much for all that you do! Way to go!!!! Black Hawks are the BEST!!!!!

The ROMS Science Department took time today to preserve a piece of Goodloe Stadium prior to construction. This beautiful agave plant was transplanted to the ROMS courtyard to allow it to thrive and its beauty to continue!

What a wonderful school year ROMS had! One of our students got picked up by a dinosaur today! Thank you to all Black Hawk students and parents who made this a wonderful school year! We hope you have a wonderful, safe summer! See you in August!

Today ROMS heard some distant wedding bells for TWO of our amazing staff members who both have upcoming weddings!! There was a lot of chatter and not a lot of pictures, but we are wishing our staff members that are getting married this summer a huge congratulations! 🎉 💒
