Just a couple of weeks left for our summer stay and play! Our last day will be August 25th!

We’ve been too busy playing and making messes to make a formal post about our themes, but this week is farm and next week is mushrooms!

After that we’ll take a short break from our workshops to focus on gaining a rhythm for our school year, but we’ll be back, so keep an eye on updates!

I had such a great time introducing zines to this group!

People have been making zines for a long time for so many different reasons. They’re a way to connect to a community and share information and culture without the need for mainstream publishing.
My hope is that these kids continue making them and sharing them within our community. And I’d love to host a zine trade someday!

Art camp is over already?! The last seven weeks have flown by so quickly. We learned a lot of new art processes(thanks to my friend Tyler for teaching us how to use a pottery wheel), how not to give up too easily, made a lot of new friends, learned about how to take care of the land around us and ourselves. It was a lot of fun! I can’t wait until art camp next year!

Tomorrow is all about the sun and summer solstice!🌞

Tomorrow is going to be very wet and rainy so I am going to be postponing our workshops until after my familiy's little summer break. We will see everyone here in June!

Just because we are not hosting for a couple weeks doesnt mean the fun has to stop! I would love to squeeze some hiking/kayaking or museum days into our two weeks off. If anyone is interested, lets make it happen!

Had too much fun to take pictures but we had a great first day of summer camp! We started with fiber arts by making foraging bags and paper🍀

We have just a couple more spots available for the rest of summer camp if anyone would like to join!

Tomorrow we have our morning art workshop and stay and play, so there are lots of ways to join!

Looking for a simple, slow and fun summer oppurtunity for your kiddo?
