I am truly thankful and grateful for those who support me and our little program here. I have over 28 years of combined experience in this field.

Many children have come and gone, however today I had to respond to a disgruntled parent.

It really hurt me how she attempted to disparage my name, but I know you cannot please everyone no matter how accommodating you try to be.

With that being said our little group is thriving and I wish everyone the absolute best.

We are actually more than thriving and now have an active wait list.

There is a huge difference between being a babysitter and being a childcare provider. ❤️

I take great pride in providing a safe, loving, nurturing, and intentional environment where children are encouraged to grow developmentally, mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally.

What parents see during the day is only part of the work.

Long before the children arrive—and often long after the last child has gone home—I am cleaning, sanitizing, planning, preparing meals and activities, creating lesson plans, organizing materials, and thinking of new ways to make each child’s experience meaningful, engaging, and fun.

I don’t simply “watch kids” in my home.

I provide care. I teach. I nurture. I encourage. I comfort. I guide. I plan. I prepare. And I love what I do.

Providing childcare is more than a job to me—it is a lifestyle and a responsibility that I do not take lightly.

I work hard to maintain the kind of environment that I would want my own children and grandchildren to be a part of.

At Mimi’s House, children aren’t just being watched.

They are being loved. They are learning. They are growing.

And they are cared for with intention. 🏡❤️

That is the difference between simply watching children and truly providing childcare.

Last week we had a blast for Lil' Firecrackers Week....the kids played in the splash pad and water tables, decorated there own fireworks and rode the outdoor toys.
