Our rich whole-child curriculum is inspired by Waldorf education and rooted in the principles and practices of LifeWays North America. As such, care is based on human interaction and developmentally appropriate activities that foster healthy development and a passion for learning. Preschool Program
Brief Description: Preschoolers will spend their day engaged in a number of activities in a rhythmical flow that is followed consistently. There will be a hands on craft or cooking activity, a rich circle time filled with movement, verses, and song, a story time, often accompanied by puppetry and plenty of time for indoor and outdoor free-play. For children age 3 – 6
School will be offered five days per week
Monday through Friday, 8:30am -5pm

Nursery Program:
Brief Description: We are excited to be able to open our doors to a limited number of our littlest community members! Infants and Toddlers will spend their days among our preschoolers; engaging with their elders while being cared for with ample love and warmth in a soothing, home-like environment. Little ones will weave a richness and diversity of age & need into our days as they learn from the preschoolers and the preschooler’s in-turn learn to nurture and practice being good role models. Little Bells, Parent-child Program:
Brief Description: Little Bells is a class for parents with wee ones, age zero to three, to learn from each other and the class leader, to share experiences and to commune with one another in a supportive and loving environment. Adults will have an ongoing project to work on while the children drift in and out of play or the infants roll about and take in all the wonder. As a class we will prepare snack together, have a simple circle time with songs and finger plays and a short story or nursery rhyme with puppets daily. A Little about our School and Lead Teacher:
Our program was founded by our lead teacher, Lista Vergith and is governed by a board of directors. Lista graduated from the LifeWays North America early childhood training program in May of 2014. She has a wealth of early childhood experience from working in daycares, teaching preschool, working as an aide in a Waldorf Kindergarten, homeschooling and raising her three amazing children as a single parent. Lista is a passionate teacher, lover of music and community gatherings, and is she is so very excited for the opportunity to offer this program to families in the Red Lodge area. We believe that to build a healthy and sustainable school, which will be an asset to the community; it takes a village. Therefore Mountain Bluebells will be non-profit and will require the aid and participation of any interested families and community members to succeed. We also believe that our program should be available to any family who wants this without regard to income status. As such, we are committed to fundraising in an effort to develop a healthy scholarship fund for those in need.
