Silver Run Ski Education Foundation

Founded in 1939, Silver Run is one of the oldest continuously operating ski clubs in the United States.

Today we are involved with teaching the area's youth the fundamentals of skiing through Nordic, Alpine, and Free Ride.

It was a perfect day for the 2026 Silver Run golf tournament at Red Lodge Mountain, Ski Resort golf course. Thanks to all who came out to play and supported our organization! We appreciate our hole sponsors for helping make the tournament a success.

Helping our favorite race director kristen hollum and Red Lodge Events shuttle runners to the start of the Annual Beartooth Run. We also cheered on a few of our SR athletes, volunteers and program coordinator as they competed. Congratulations to Gavin for his 3rd place overall finish in the 5k! He is also on the RLHS XC running team.

Congratulations to Adaya Whitelock! She is a Cody homeschool senior. After graduation, Adaya plans to take some time to focus on improving and grow as a ski racer. We are excited to have Adaya apart of our program for another season. Way to go!🎉🥳

Congratulations to Free ride comp athlete-Wyatt Ramage
He is a graduate from Billings West High School and Billings Career Center 💛🖤

In the fall, he will be headed to MSU Northern for Diesel Tech, Ag and Welding.
Fun fact about Wyatt: he was the 2025 Montana Wheat Yield Contest winner and placed 5th in the nation for his Dryland Winter Wheat.
Way to go Wyatt! We wish you all the best! 🥳

Yellowstone Valley Gives is 2 weeks away! We are excited to participate in our first Yellowstone Valley Gives. Our goal for this event is to continue to limit barriers to access by providing scholarships for athletes to join our Nordic, Alpine, Freeride or Snowboard programs.
