Head Start Picnic has started! Please join us there's a lot of food. *Ponemah wanted to have a separate picnic at their location.

We also have rented Bounce Houses at the Red Lake location and are having drawings for a computer and 1 tablet 🥳 - Head Start Staff

Just a little update on the Field Trip!
FYI: Valleyfair is cashless. BUT, if you do only have cash on hand while we are there the park DOES HAVE CASH-TO-CARD KIOSKS where you can convert your cash onto a card FOR FREE. There are a limited number of kiosks throughout the park, so if you do have a debit or credit card you can also use those instead.
This notice is in case someone doesn't have any type of card to use if you wanted to make other purchases while we are there for the day because they only take cards to pay for anything there now.

Everyone is also welcome to look up the rules for the park on their own in case you had other questions about things while we're there.

Notes that went home the other day, this in case a classroom didn't send them out because we want parents to be able to plan ahead for this time with their child/children.

Reminder! The scheduled Field Trip IS ONLY FOR ENROLLED STUDENTS and one parent (per child if you have more than one enrolled). Please see note for the full notice on that and everything else that's happening.

The Head Start program is switching to a new program called Bright Wheel. Parents of the three year old children that will be returning will or have already received in invite. Please make your account. This should have been sent home with the children.

If any parents have any questions about our Head Start program, we are more than happy to answer them.
Our teachers have Early Childhood Degrees to be working with children. 2 year and 4 year.
They are required to have training to work with them.
We have a curriculum that we use to teach our little ones.
The teachers are required to document the children's skills they need to move onto Kindergarten.
