An outstanding turnout for today's NW Minnesota Tillage Expo at the Northwest Research & Outreach Center in Crookston. The event focused on how different tillage practices impact erosion and soil conditions. The expo was sponsored by the Minnesota Wheat Research & Promotion Council and the Minnesota Association of Wheat Growers.

Su***de claims the lives of too many people in agriculture. The Minnesota Farm Su***de Prevention Campaign invites you to attend free workshops that teach anyone who lives or works in an agricultural community how to help when they see someone struggling.

Workshops are scheduled for Ada, Albert Lea, Austin, Buffalo, Cloquet, Crookston, Fergus Falls, Grand Rapids, Marshall, Mora, New Ulm, Rochester, Thief River Falls, Waite Park, Willmar, and Worthington Minnesota from mid- September through late October.

Following the release of updated text for the Agricultural Act of 2026, NAWG welcomed the Senate Agriculture Committee’s continued progress toward a comprehensive, five-year farm bill 👏 The proposed legislation includes important provisions for wheat growers, including continued investments in agricultural research, risk-management tools, trade promotion, international food assistance and the U.S. grain inspection system.
