Come spend your Fridays at Space Studios and explore the art and craft of songwriting, recording, and performance. We will develop the skills needed to create our own musical productions as we build beats, write lyrics and melodies, sing and rap, and ultimately record our songs in one of our two state of the art recording studios!

In this new writing focused group led by Liz Louie, students will tackle one of the most fun part of songwriting: lyrics! Looking at poetry for inspiration, students will learn exercises, methods, and practical applications for writing lyrics through the form of a creative writing workshop. By the end of our 8-week session, students will have created (at least) two songs with completely original lyrics.

This is truly a class you won't want to miss!

Are you interested in filmmaking, acting, music scoring & production?

Studio X Fall Filmmakers is a great opportunity for kids interested in film and music making, creative writing, photography, and design to produce their own short films.

From video and audio production, to editing, scoring, and screenplay creation, we will do it all in this multi-disciplined experience. This is a great opportunity for aspiring filmmakers, writers, musicians, and actors.

You do not need to have any film experience to take this class. All you need is a creative mind and an excitement to learn and have fun!

Saturdays: 4-6pm
