A big thank you to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit and Detective Petrus for visiting our camp today! 🐾👮‍♂️ Campers loved learning about how the K-9s are trained and the important role they play in keeping our community safe. We are so grateful for the opportunity to meet these incredible dogs and the dedicated officers who work with them every day! 💙🐶

Due to the extreme heat index expected tomorrow, all Summer Recreation Camp programs will be cancelled on Tuesday July 29th.
The safety and well-being of our campers and staff is our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and encourage everyone to stay cool and hydrated.

Huge thank you to Northern Dutchess Paramedics and Cheryl for visiting our camp and teaching our upcoming 5th and 6th graders about life-saving CPR! 🚑🫀 Their hands-on demonstration and important safety tips gave our campers a chance to learn how they could help in an emergency. We are so grateful for their time, knowledge, and dedication to our community! 💙

🌧️☔ Rainy days can't stop the fun at camp! Our campers stayed busy and smiling under the pavallion with exciting activities like board games, friendship bracelet making, and creative crafts. Laughter echoed through the camp as we turned a gloomy day into a bright one full of memories! 🌈🎨🎲

🦋 A huge thank you to Clermont Education for visiting our summer camp today! Campers had a blast learning all about the butterfly life cycle — from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis to beautiful butterfly! 🐛➡️🦋

After the lesson, everyone got creative with a fun butterfly-themed craft to wrap up the experience. We’re so grateful for this hands-on learning opportunity and for bringing nature into our day in such a special way! 🌿🎨

Our campers have been busy soaking up the summer fun! ☀️ From intense Gaga ball matches to running wild on the turf and getting creative with bottle cap crafts 🎨—we've had a blast all around! 😄
