Congratulations to the Red Bud Musketeers Varsity Volleyball Team on being named a 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award recipient! 🏐🎉

Our team also earned the prestigious AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll, recognizing us among the top 20% of team GPAs nationally in our division. 📖🏆

This marks the second consecutive season our varsity program has received this incredible honor—a testament to the dedication, discipline, and commitment our student-athletes demonstrate every single day. Their success in the classroom is just as impressive as their success on the court, and we couldn't be more proud!⚔️📚🤍❤️

🏆 CHAMPIONS!⚔️

What a week for the Red Bud Musketeers! ⚔️

In less than 24 hours, this team competed in 2 tournaments, played 11 matches in 2 days, and finished the week by going 5-0 to claim the
SIU Carbondale Tournament Championship!🏆

This group embraced new roles, trusted one another, and found a way to keep getting better with every match. Champions aren't made when it's easy—they're made when they're exhausted and still choose to compete.

We wrapped up the perfect day the right way—with a well-earned stop at 7 Brew- Large drinks, please🤩☕️

⚔️ 2nd Place Finish at the 16-Team Kirkwood Summer Tournament!⚔️

What a day for the Musketeers!

The girls opened the morning by winning their pool, defeating St. Charles West and Lafayette (Gold)while splitting sets with Westminster to earn the top seed heading into the Gold Bracket.

From there, they continued to battle, earning impressive wins over Eureka and Rockwood Summit before falling in an incredible three-set championship match to St. Joseph's Academy.

After 9 hours of volleyball, the Musketeers came up just 2 points short of bringing home the championship. This team showed exactly who they are—competitors. This group came to battle, and it's exciting to see what they're building together!

🏐❤️ Musketeer Pride Never Takes the Summer Off!❤️🏐

Our Red Bud High School volleyball athletes have been representing the Musketeers on the biggest stages in the country!

Congratulations to our players for their outstanding performances at the USAV & AAU National Championships in the last 2 weeks:

🏆 Peyton Kreher (Senior)– Helped her team to an 🔥undefeated championship🔥in the 16U National Division at the USAV Girls Junior National Championship in Indianapolis, bringing home the title! This is insanely difficult! 🤩

🏐 Devyn Liefer (Senior)– Competed in the 18U USAV Girls Junior National Championship in Reno in May before returning to compete with her 2027 17u team in the highly competitive Open Division at Nationals in Indianapolis.

🔥Maria Murry (Senior)– Competed in the highly competitive USAV Open Division in Indianapolis.

⭐ Corbyn Legendre (Junior)– Helped her team finish 11th in the USAV Liberty Division in Indianapolis.

⭐ Norah Wagner (Junior)– Helped lead her team finish 11th in the USAV Liberty Division in Indianapolis.

💪 Reaghan Tallman (Sophomore)– helped her team to 21st in the USAV Freedom Division in Indianapolis.

👏 Emry Mudd (Freshman)– Helped her team earn an 11th-place finish in the USAV National Division in Indianapolis.

🌟Emma Carter (RBHS Class of 2026)– Competed at the AAU National Championships in Orlando.

We are incredibly proud of each of these athletes for continuing to develop their skills, compete against the nation's best, while representing Red Bud. Congratulations to all of our players on an incredible summer—we can't wait to see you back in maroon and white!

A big shoutout to Vance at Red Bud Parks and Recreation for taking care of the court and, making our fun competition happen! 🌱🏐

We wrapped up the week with a win in Freeburg and celebrated the best way possible—with a sweet treat from the The Coffee Pot! ☕🍩
