Looking for a way to get more involved at SWIC Red Bud?

We're seeking 2 students to serve on the College Activities Board. This scholarship position gives you the opportunity to plan and implement student and community events, build valuable leadership skills, and have a voice in shaping campus life.

Getting involved is one of the best ways to connect with other students, develop professionally, and make your college experience more meaningful.

We loved having our students back on campus for the first week of classes!
Students enjoyed welcome week activities, including a coffee truck & donuts, cookout, popcorn, and ice cream. ☕️ 🍩 🍔 🍿 🍨
We also celebrated an exciting milestone as the new CTE Building welcomed its first welding and industrial electricity classes!

Today SWIC Red Bud students continued welcome week with a cool treat. From building their own ice cream creations to connecting with classmates and staff, it was a great way to celebrate the start of the semester.

Did you know SWIC's Technology Education programs were on display at the Illinois State Fair?
We're honored to be recognized by the Illinois Community College Board for the work we're doing to prepare students for in-demand careers and strengthen our local workforce. Opportunities in welding, industrial electricity, HVAC, machining, and more are helping students turn their goals into reality.
