Middle Tennessee Land Judging CDE!

I took these to compete today for the Middle Tennessee contest! They have had a big time and spent a lot of hours after school practicing! I am proud of them and their efforts! We wasted some time at Goodwill first and they decided to buy some random things 😂. They would agree though to me buying them a school outfit for tomorrow!!! Making memories at the finest! Congratulations to Bryson for placing the highest of our team!!!

🐮🐷🐑 CPC Livestock Field Day

We had the opportunity to participate in CPC’s Livestock Field Day last week, and what a great day it was! Our students had the chance to judge cattle and sheep, learn more about agriculture colleges and careers in the industry, and tour the amazing facilities at CPC in Fountain Run.

It was an incredible hands-on learning experience and a great opportunity for our students to explore the many possibilities within agriculture. We are so thankful to CPC for hosting us and investing in the next generation of agriculture leaders!

Thank you, CPC, for an unforgettable day! 🌾🐄🐑

Cute visitors make fun class lessons 🐾🐱 Today in Mrs. White’s veterinary science class, students learned how to restrain, give oral medications (dewormer) and trim nails on a furry friend. Everyone got some sweet snuggles too 🥰

🌱 Life Lessons in Agriscience! 🌱

Every Friday, my Agriscience students get to learn a life lesson that goes beyond the classroom—and I absolutely love seeing them put these skills to work!

Last Friday, they learned how to make homemade salsa, and they got to enjoy the fruits of their labor at our monthly FFA meeting! 🍅🌶️

This Friday, we took it a step further and learned how to break, prepare, and can fresh green beans. 🫛🫙 Not only did they learn a skill they can use at home for years to come, but they also know their hard work will be enjoyed later!

These green beans will be part of the meal at our Thanksgiving FFA meeting! 🦃🍽️

I’m so proud of these students for learning that Agriscience is about so much more than what happens in a textbook. It’s about learning skills, working together, serving others, and knowing how to take care of yourself and your family. ❤️🌱

Who knows what life lesson we’ll tackle next Friday! 👩‍🌾💚
