📚 We hope everyone had a wonderful first day back! It was so great to welcome our students for another exciting school year.

As a reminder, we have new afternoon parent pick-up procedures in place to help ensure a safe and efficient dismissal.

🚌 Bus riders will dismiss first.

🚗 Parent Pick-Up: The parent pick-up line begins near the gym doors. Please follow the cones and posted signs to the end of the covered walkway, where students will be picked up. Following the designated route helps keep traffic moving smoothly and, most importantly, keeps our students safe.

⚠️ Please remember that it is illegal to pass a school bus when its stop lights are flashing, whether on public roadways or on school property.

The safety of our students is always our top priority. Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and support as we work together to make dismissal safe for everyone.

It is with heavy hearts that we remember and honor, Mrs. Amanda Hale a beloved teacher at Hermitage Springs School for 25 years.

We will remember Mrs. Amanda as a truly special teacher whose kindness, patience, and dedication touched the lives of so many students. The lessons she taught reached far beyond the classroom and will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was much more than just a teacher in the classroom. She had the heart of a servant, and a smile that could light up the darkest of days.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Upton-Hay Funeral Home with Jason Thompson officiating and interment to follow in the Ray Williams Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.

Please keep Mrs. Amanda's family, friends, students, and everyone who loved her in your thoughts during this difficult time. Her legacy will continue through every life she touched. 💜💛

Skyward will be unavailable starting Monday, July 13, 2026. It will be down for a few days because the State of Tennessee is changing its servers. During this time, school staff and you will not be able to use Skyward. This means we cannot print any forms, like transcripts or driver's license forms. If you need any of these documents for next week, please get them before the end of this week.

After the server change is finished, you will have a new link to access Skyward for families and students. We will share this link on our websites and pages. We will also send out a new ParentSquare post with the link. Your username and password will stay the same.
