We’re excited to share how RBUESD is strengthening reading and writing across our schools! Our Literacy Public Update highlights the classroom instruction, small-group support, tutoring, staff training, and family and community partnerships helping our students grow as readers.

These efforts support Tehama County’s Strive for 85 initiative, which aims for 85% of third-grade students to read fluently at grade level within three years. We invite you to explore the attached update to learn about our progress, the supports available, and ways families can participate. Thank you for partnering with us to help every student become a confident reader!

ATTENDANCE CELEBRATION DAY!!!
WED, OCT 7th!

The proof is clear: better attendance means better learning. We’ll celebrate students being at school with hourly giveaways and chances to win exciting prizes, including electronics, sports equipment, toys, and restaurant gift cards. See the attached flyer for details!

Red Bluff Union Elementary School District joined educators and community partners at the Tehama County Literacy Team Workshop to help more children become confident readers. Want to be part of that work? We host Reading Pals, a great way to support students as they build reading skills in the early grades!

We are so grateful to the parents who completed their students' data update in a timely fashion! Having current medical and contact information for every student is vital. Here are the winners of the gift card giveaway!!

If you have not completed this, it is still essential to do so! We need this information for your child to have access to devices, attend field trips, update their emergency contact info, and so much more!

Winners can come to the District Office to pick up their $100 Walmart cards at 1755 Airport Blvd. - or call 530-527-7200 ext. 5106 if this is not possible.
