Reading Pals is starting up in Corning and Red Bluff! Volunteers needed for reading 1-on-1 with students for just 1 hr. a week. We make it easy! Students enrolled in Reading Pals gain 1 year of literacy skills reading with a volunteer in just 4 months. Come make a difference in the life of a child today! We need concerned citizens who are willing to spend ONE HOUR a week (Virtual through Zoom) helping a child learn to read, in turn, building their self-confidence and setting them on a path to success as we start Reading Pals in Tehama County! SERRF is working with Districts and Expect More Tehama to bring some FUN activities and learning opportunities to students and families this summer! This includes a "Summer SERRF Mobile" making planned visits to school sites during lunch distributions! We will have books and activity kits for families throughout Tehama County!
