At Red Bank Catholic, listening to families is central to building community. This fall, the school is introducing a redesigned Open House experience based on what prospective families requested most: more meaningful interactions, personal connections, and opportunities to experience what it truly means to be a Casey.
Guided by feedback from families and Director of Admissions Kristen Amnott, RBC has transformed its traditional Open House into three smaller, more intimate events. The new format allows families to explore campus at a comfortable pace while connecting directly with the people who make the RBC experience unique.
"Our goal has always been to help families experience the welcoming, faith-filled community that defines Red Bank Catholic," said Mrs. Amnott. "When families asked for more time for personal conversations and individualized attention, we listened. This new format gives them the opportunity to ask questions, build relationships, and envision themselves as part of the RBC family."
Each session begins with a student-led campus tour, followed by a presentation from school leadership highlighting RBC's academics, student life, athletics, and faith formation. The experience concludes with an interactive student Q&A panel.
Families will also have dedicated time to speak one-on-one with faculty, administrators, coaches, and student support staff about academics, dual enrollment, arts, athletics, campus ministry, and student services.
Attendance is intentionally limited to ensure every visitor receives the personalized experience families requested.
"Choosing a high school is one of the most important decisions a family makes," Amnott added. "We want every prospective Casey to leave feeling informed, welcomed, and excited about the possibilities that await them at RBC."
Fall Open House Dates:
• Thursday, October 1 | 6:00–8:00 p.m.
• Saturday, October 17 | 9:30–11:30 a.m.
• Thursday, October 29 | 6:00–8:00 p.m.
Advance registration is required, and attendance is limited. Families are encouraged to reserve their preferred session early.

The Red Bank Catholic Foundation celebrated a milestone recently, making its inaugural contribution to RBC from the endowed faculty fund. The investment in a motivated faculty aligns with one of the foundation's core priorities which reads: Investing in our exceptional faculty to maintain the school's high standards.

The faculty fund is dedicated to recognizing the commitment and drive RBC teachers and staff exercise throughout the entire year in the planning and ex*****on of providing a world-class Catholic education for students. Teachers and staff members will annually receive additional compensation from the fund at the end of the school year.

Foundation Board Chairman Bill Juska ('62) was on hand for the event. “With this contribution the RBC Foundation begins to achieve one of its primary goals: to annually support the faculty and staff, who are themselves the foundation of a Red Bank Catholic education, with additional compensation. We are very grateful for the commitment, dedication and talents of the faculty and staff.”

"This endowed fund will provide additional compensation every year for the faculty and staff," said RBC President and Foundation Secretary Robert Abatemarco. "Their dedication is a life's calling and this gift reflects the gratitude of those who benefitted and grew from their commitment."

The Red Bank Catholic Foundation remains committed to supporting the school now and in the future. The upcoming cafeteria renovation would not have been possible without their support.

Red Bank Catholic and Conscientia Health have announced a partnership to launch a comprehensive student wellness program, including a dedicated Wellness Room and an integrated wellness curriculum. Recognized by Forbes, Conscientia Health is committed to transforming mental healthcare through innovation and accessibility.

As part of the collaboration, Conscientia Health has pledged support for the initiative, marking the organization’s first school partnership of its kind. The program is being led by Dr. Simbiat Adighije (Dr. Sim), founder of Conscientia Health and an RBC parent.

“Our goal is simple,” said Dr. Sim. “We want every student to have timely access to compassionate, evidence-based care that supports their growth, resilience, and overall well-being.” As a Casey parent, Dr. Sim hopes the new curriculum and on-campus Wellness Room will help strengthen student mental health support.

Like schools nationwide, RBC is seeing an increase in student mental health needs. The new initiative reflects the school’s commitment to supporting students academically, spiritually, and emotionally.

“As RBC continues to strengthen student support systems, we remain committed to meeting the needs of every learner,” said Student Assistance Counselor Nicole Wall. “We are thrilled to partner with Dr. Adighije and Conscientia Health.”

The wellness initiative will include:
• A wellness curriculum focused on mental health awareness, resilience, and coping strategies
• A state-of-the-art Wellness Room offering students a safe space for reflection, regulation, and support
• Educational programming and workshops led by Conscientia Health clinicians
• Enhanced support pathways for families, including access to higher levels of care when needed

Conscientia Health’s clinician-led model integrates mental and physical health through a “whole-person care” approach, aligning closely with RBC’s mission to support the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of every student.

Construction of the Wellness Room will begin this summer, with curriculum and programming launching during the upcoming academic year.

Red Bank Catholic High School is transforming its cafeteria into a modern Dining Hall! The refreshed gathering space featuring updated LED lighting, RBC-branded furniture such as round tables and high-top seating, fresh wall paint, and a vibrant new mural celebrating school spirit and tradition.

Alongside the physical upgrade, RBC has partnered with Simplified Culinary Services as its new food provider. Meals will be prepared from scratch using fresh ingredients and clean labels — think chicken quesadillas with rice and beans, grass-fed beef bolognese, nacho bars, carnita rice bowls, and more. All at a price point comparable to what students pay today.

"The Dining Hall is truly a central gathering place on campus, and these upgrades create an environment that reflects the energy, pride, and sense of community that define Red Bank Catholic." Dr. Vanessa Pereira, Principal

The project was funded through the RB Catholic Foundation and generous contributions from RBC parents, alumni, and friends through the annual Impact Day initiative.

"We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to Impact Day and helped create a dining experience that will benefit the RBC community for years to come."
Cheryl Podmajersky, Asst. Director of Advancement & Alumni Relations

The new Dining Hall reflects RBC's ongoing commitment to student life, campus facilities, and its mission of academic excellence, faith formation, and community.
