Some days you just don't have time to prep and print.

This digital notebook activity saved me more than once. This one helps kids understand the Estate System before the French Revolution.

Kids read about the estates and then explain the inequalities. These digital notebook bundles are perfect for those "I need something solid in a pinch" days.

If you teach World History, you know the struggle: some units have a million resources out there, and others leave you searching for hours with nothing to show for it.

That's why I made this bundle. 100 primary source worksheets covering the trickiest topics to find good material for, including the Enlightenment, women's roles in the French Revolution, Toussaint Louverture, and TONS more.

Each is one page, built around a primary source excerpt, and designed to hook kids without overwhelming them.

Lewis & Clark used to feel like it was either "read a chapter" or "watch a video".

I wanted something that got kids into the JOURNEY!

So I built a 10-station lesson where students follow the route, read journal excerpts (including York and Sacajawea's experiences) and write their own, and pieced together the story as they moved through each stop.

It came together with this activity that includes a foldable student journal and 30+ primary source excerpts.

By the end my class kids have a real feel for what the Corps of Discovery went through.

Good emperor… or bad emperor? 🪦

This hands-on Roman Emperors Gravestone Activity is perfect if you happen to be covering Ancient Rome this week!

Your students read about Nero, Marcus Aurelius, and more of Rome’s rulers, then create interactive “gravestone” foldables to decide who deserves praise… and who belongs buried on the bad side.

World leader... or world bully? 🌎

Here's a way to make Imperialism less like memorization and more critical thinking.

Kids read about 10 pivotal events like the Spanish-American War, the Panama Canal, the Philippine-American War, and more.

They then argue whether America acted as a "world leader" or a "world bully," backing up every claim with evidence in a short writing activity.

George Washington had a few parting words for America that still hit home today.

In this Farewell Address worksheet, students analyze Washington’s warnings about political parties and foreign alliances through excerpts and reflection questions.

"How do I get kids to actually engage with primary sources?"

Give them a creative outlet for what they learn. In this project, students research a major 1800s reform movement (abolition, women's rights, temperance, etc).

Then, they work in groups to design a magazine cover about it. Standards-aligned questions keep the reading rigorous, and the final product is something they want to show off.

"What are my students going to DO all year?"

If you've asked yourself that, interactive notebooks might be your answer. Kids cut, fold, glue, and color their way through your content. This means their hands are busy, their brains are engaged, and you've got time to circulate and support instead of just talking at them the whole period.

The Strait of Hormuz has been all over the news lately ... do your students know if it's a landform or a body of water?

This Middle East geography activity has kids categorizing and describing major features like the Persian Gulf, Dead Sea, Zagros Mountains, and more.
