Europe's monarchs can start to blend together when kids are just reading names and dates off a page.

This pop-up activity fixes that!

Students learn about 4 of Europe's absolute monarchs then create pop-up figures of each that they glue directly onto a map of Europe. It makes for a great way to connect the ruler to their country and build a visual of how absolutism spread across the continent.

It's hands-on, memorable, and by the end your students can actually picture who ruled where.

A great way to help students understand how the world ended up at WW2 is to help them see the pattern for themselves.

This interactive notebook chart lays out Japan, the USSR, Italy, and Germany side by side across the 1920s, 30s, and 40s, so kids can track each country's rise to authoritarianism and compare them as they go.

It's a great way to build connections: notice how each country dealt with economic crisis, how a strong, controlling leader stepped in promising a solution, and how that led to aggression and expansion.

It's simple, but it makes for an effective study tool leading into your WW2 unit in either World or US History!

Can your students escape East Berlin? 🚨

In this escape room activity, your students will take on the role of an East Berliner racing to gather secret information in order to safely escape from the walled-off communist section of the city.

They must work together to decode clues at 9 stations about the Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, real escape attempts, and more.

Students researched one of these major reform movements of the 1800s:

✅ The Abolition Movement
✅ Women's Rights
✅ The Temperance Movement
✅ Education Reforms
✅ Prison & Asylum Reforms
✅ Factory & Workplace Reforms

They then designed a magazine cover to present their topic to the class.
