⭐ The very first Star Spotlight of 2026-27⭐

We would like to recognize and thank Mrs. Courtney Odom!

Two years ago, Mrs. Courtney came to me with an idea—to re-establish a PTO at Cannon North Elementary. Her vision was ambitious, but Courtney was determined to make it happen.

Since that day, she has accomplished so much more than we could have imagined. She worked to establish a PTO board, organize fundraisers, provide special treats and surprises for our students and staff, and—most importantly—found countless ways to support and celebrate our teachers.

Courtney has poured her time, energy, creativity, and heart into making CNE an even better place to learn and work. She has gone above and beyond, always looking for another way to bless our school family and make someone’s day a little brighter.

Mrs. Courtney Odom, we are incredibly grateful for your servant heart, vision, leadership, generosity, and your unwavering commitment to Cannon North Elementary. Thank you for taking an ambitious idea and turning it into something that has made such a tremendous impact on our school.

Thank you Cannon North PTO and Hometown Squeeze for providing lemonade for all of the CNE faculty and staff on this Friday of our first full week! It was a perfect afternoon pick-me-up! 🍋
