Our community came together for a soap-making workshop led by the wonderful Paola Disla (Disla). We learned the process of creating handmade soap, shared conversations, laughed together, and left with not only something we made with our own hands, but new knowledge to carry with us 🌸

Trail Notes: THE BRIDGE SITUATION

Bridges: great for getting over things. Less great when they're getting over the river AND starting to fall apart.

Bridge repairs are some of the biggest and most expensive projects on the Schuylkill River Trail. We're not talking a few planks. We're talking engineering assessments, heavy equipment, contractors, and months of coordination.

When a bridge deck rots or when storm damage takes its toll, a 10-foot span suddenly becomes a big trail problem.

The SRG Stewardship Fund exists specifically for moments like these — when something needs to get fixed and it needs to get fixed fast so it doesn't become a hazard.

This final year of the Stewardship Fund Campaign, we're working hard to make sure we have a sustainable source of revenue to ensure every bridge we maintain is safe for every biker, runner, and trail user who crosses them.
