Albright College alumni are making their mark in the world of scientific research. A newly published article in the peer-reviewed journal Virology represents years of dedicated work from Sarah Boothman ’18 and Megan Keller ’23, two talented Albright graduates whose research continues to shine beyond campus. Congratulations to Dr. Boothman and future Dr. Keller, and a special shoutout to Dr. Adam Hersperger, the article’s other contributing author, whose mentorship reflects the caring, dedicated faculty who help shape Albright students long after graduation. Sarah has since completed her Ph.D. at Carnegie Mellon University and is now a postdoctoral researcher at Indiana University, while Megan is continuing her academic journey in a Ph.D. program at Thomas Jefferson University.

Today, we gathered as a community to celebrate the Class of 2026 and all that they have become at Albright College. Shaped by experiences in the classroom, on the stage, on the field, and across our campus, these graduates carry forward the spirit that defines Albright. Their time here was marked by growth, connection, and a commitment to something bigger than themselves. As they leave this place, they take a piece of Albright with them, and leave their mark on it forever.

The Class of 2026 gathered for Baccalaureate, a meaningful moment to reflect on the journey that brought them to this milestone. Surrounded by faculty, family, and friends, our graduates took time to celebrate growth, resilience, and purpose. This tradition reminds us that an Albright education is about more than a degree, it is about who you become along the way. Tomorrow, they cross the stage ready to lead, serve, and make their mark.
