We are honored to announce that Berks County Election officials have approved Centro Hispano Daniel Torres as the new polling location for the Reading 6-1 precinct! 🗳️

We are located at 25 North 2nd Street across from the Imax Movie Theater.

We kindly ask our supporters to share this important update with registered voters who live in the precinct. Make sure they note the change and start preparing their plans to vote this November in the upcoming election.

Voting is more than just a right; it's our voice and our power. Let's come together and ensure our Greater Reading community is heard this November. If we want to shape the future direction of our city, county, and country, every vote counts!

Real Talk!

Registered Voters in the City of Reading and Berks County you are valued. Your voice and vote matter and will chart our community's future direction. I want to extend an invitation to join me for a Virtual Civic Convention! This Convention that is being hosted by our Centro Hispano Daniel Torres partner the The Harwood Institute for Public Innovation and is designed to address why now, more than ever, we need to chart a new civic path to address the growing despair and divisiveness in society.

Our Civic Convention will center the stories of three communities including Reading, where transformation is taking place. We will also here about Alamance County, NC, one of the most divided places in the country; and Lexington, KY, a rapidly growing community where many feel in danger of being left out or left behind.

Every day, we are working to bear witness to how this new civic path is creating change and strengthening our communities’ civic culture. Give us an hour and we’ll give you hope. August 28 at 7pm ET. The Municipal Primary is less than a month away and we need your help!

We are looking for poll workers to fill a variety of positions at precincts throughout the county on May 16, 2023. To be a poll worker you must be a U.S. citizen that resides in Berks County and you must be registered to vote. You do NOT need to live within a precinct to work at its poll.

Poll workers receive $200 for working on Election Day and at least $30 for attending training.
