You're invited to join us for Vacation Bible School at Schwarzwald UCC July 13-16, 2026 - 6:30pm to 8:00pm

This summer we are celebrating America’s 250th anniversary through stories, values, and community. Our program focuses on a faith value each day:
▪ Day 1: Welcome and Belonging - The Spirit gathers people from every nation into one community. (Acts 2:1-12),
▪ Day 2: Justice and Fairness - Doing justice is not a grand gesture; it is small choices made every day. (Micah 6:8),
▪ Day 3: Courage and Truth - Courage is not the absence of fear. It is speaking up anyway. (Esther 4:14), and
▪ Day 4: Community and Common Good - Together we can build what no one could build alone. (Nehemiah 2-4, Acts 2:44-47).

Our program will be decked out in Red-White-Blue, and will have exciting games, patriotic crafts, delicious snacks, and memorable lessons. We will integrate our congregation's rich 289-year heritage, demonstrating the faith-informed patriotism of our historic German Reformed and now UCC traditions, while teaching about loving our country, telling its story honestly, and working to close the gap between its ideals and its reality.

We hope you join us for a memorable VBS! All children ages 3 to 12 are welcome. Older children are welcome to help as junior leaders! Donations are greatly appreciated to fund the program. Summer STEM Camp with Happily Ever After Play and Party Palace hosts weekly themed science, arts and theater camp right here in our preschool social hall!

Ages 6-11 half days 8:30-12 or 12-3:30, Full days 8:30-3:30 (BYO lunch)

Ages 4,5 Lil' Campers Program half days 2, 3 or 5 day per week options. 8:30-12 ( also BYO lunch option if you want them to stay for lunch)

We made it to our last week of preschool! I can't believe how fast this year has gone by! The preschoolers have all grown so much- physically, emotionally and socially! The teachers dedicated each day to teach something new and have fun along the way! We are so proud of each and everyone of them ☺️

Congrats to the Pre-k graduates that will be going off to kindergarten next year! May you all take everything you've learned with you and continue to grow!

They will have their preschool graduation ceremonies (with caps & gowns) starting tonight for their families to watch! 🎓

NEW PRE-K AFTERNOON CLASS ENROLLING NOW!!
We are currently exploring new ways to grow and expand in order to better meet the needs of families in our community.

We are adding a NEW Pre-K 3 day Afternoon Class:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
12:45 PM – 3:00 PM

This additional class option would give families more flexibility in their schedules and also create more opportunities for children to learn and grow — all while keeping our class sizes small and personal.
