Jy Jackson ’25 was pretty sure he was headed toward a career as a dentist. But his expectations shifted as he worked on a summer Albright ACRE.
“I learned that there’s nothing wrong with not getting the results I expected, because you’re always learning as you go.”

The Albright College Chemistry Club (Student Members of the American Chemical Society) assisted with Science Day hosted by the Reading Science Center. The event was held Sunday at the Drexel University College of Medicine campus in West Reading. The Student Members of the ACS club from Albright College volunteered with the Lehigh Valley Section of the American Chemical Society. The chemistry club volunteers helped kids make their own batteries. This outreach is so important to helping interest future STEM studies among the children from this area. The event coincided with Earth Week.
