Ania Creative Designs Ania Creative Designs is a company that is currently focused on providing material and educational support to those interested in the art of rug hooking.

I enjoy teaching rug hooking, dyeing and color design. Ania Knap founded Ania Creative Designs, a.k.a. ACD, in 2002. Ania is driven by a life-long passion to create. In its early conception, ACD was mostly focused on the creation and sales of beaded jewerly. That focus has shifted over the years, and today ACD is focused on rug hooking. Ania hopes to both inspire others to hook rugs and facilitate that process. ACD is therefore split into two main visions. The first is to help provide material objects needed to create rugs, including patterns, hand-dyed wool, and other tools. The second focus is on teaching the art of rug hooking, as Ania is a certified teacher in the art. We hope you enjoy this page, and find inspiration among its posts.

There's a new post up on the blog! Click on the link below to read a dyeing tip. It's a refresher since I'm in the midst of dyeing for classes (here's a hint: it involves Tyvek envelopes). Hope you find it helpful!

After having my rugs on display at two of Cell Signal Technology facilities, a biotech company in Massachusetts, since September of last year, I picked them up and was presented with these beautiful flowers. What a lovely surprise. I was told the rugs were very much enjoyed at both facilities. I am delighted!
