Our COO, Steven Lara, visited Harrisburg today for the ECE Workforce Day. He spent the day meeting with legislators to address the current workforce crisis facing the child care industry across the nation. During the press conference, he delivered an inspiring speech sharing the remarkable story of one of our exceptional parents. Two years ago, when she first enrolled her child, she was homeless and living in a transitional shelter for those escaping domestic violence. Today, she proudly calls herself a first-time homeowner! This is just one extraordinary example of the exceptional work we do for our community. We develop and nurture entire families, not just children! We are incredibly proud of Steven and his unwavering advocacy. Thank you to Pennsylvania Child Care Association for hosting this event and to all legislators and staffers who gave their time to listen to our needs.

Today we had an Oral Hygiene Presentation, with Smiles 4 Keeps, our focus of the day was teaching the children how to brush and floss properly and perfect oral hygiene 🦷🦷👨🏻‍⚕️👨🏻‍⚕️.
The children were involved in many fun activitie, like flossing and brushing the pony’s teet. As alway, children learned while they were having fun! 🤩
With this activity we encourage we encourage children to keep their teeth healthy and shining. 😁😁🦷🦷
