School starts next week! Distribution of to Middle School students and to Upper School students has begun. Father Patrick Armano, School Chaplain, celebrated Mass this morning in the Chapel of St. Augustine with faculty and staff who were back on campus today in preparation for the arrival of students next week. On this Feast Day of Saint Bartholomew, Fr. Patrick read a reflection from Pope Leo XIV focusing on Bartholomew and the mission of the apostles. "Like Bartholomew, every student is someone whom Christ calls by name. May our schools help them to 'Look to Christ! Come closer to him!' and discover the truth, freedom, and vocation for which God created them."

Austin Prep Middle School has been named a 2026 Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE) School of Distinction, becoming the first private school in New England and the first Catholic school in the U.S. to earn the honor.

Upper School students are responsible for reading a minimum of two books this summer, including 1776 by David McCullough in celebration of America’s 250th birthday.
