School is in full swing at Saint Peter’s School! So much learning was taking place this week, and students were growing as learning communities. On Thursday, students did a great job with our first fire drill. On Thursday, many parents came to Back to School night where our principal, Mrs. Searfoss encouraged and inspired everyone. Thank you parents for partnering with us! We ended the week with our Welcome School mass where we welcomed our new students and teachers. Today, we celebrated the first mass of the school year. Monsignor Orsulak gave a beautiful homily that began with "It is so good for us to be here!" He welcomed students and teachers back to school, and he reminded us that "Celebrating mass is the most important thing we do together as a school."

This is what makes Saint Peter's School such a special school - it is a place where we can grow in faith and follow Jesus in all we do! As we finish the first week of school, let us thank God for the blessing of this school community.

Today our faculty and staff joined in the Diocesan Educators’ Retreat at the National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and the National Grotto at Mount St. Mary’s!

We were able to hold all our students and families in prayer and start our week of preparations for the upcoming year with the Lord!
