Good Morning!

Today, we held auditions and crew interviews for our brand-new TV Studio Broadcast Team! 📺

We are excited to see our students step up, share their creativity, and explore the many different roles that go into bringing a broadcast to life. There was some great energy and enthusiasm as we begin building this team!

We can’t wait to see what our students come up with. The future of MJHS broadcasting starts now!

Today, we took 40 of our freshman students to visit Kutztown University and experience campus life firsthand.

Students had the opportunity to tour the campus, learn more about what life is like as a college student, and explore the many sports, clubs, activities, and opportunities available at the college level.

Experiences like this are an important reminder that the work students put in during high school can help open doors after graduation.

Keep working hard, setting goals, and putting yourself in a great position for whatever path you choose after high school!

Good Afternoon:

On Monday, we will kick off the first of many No Tech Days at MJHS! Throughout the school year, we will designate select days where students and staff will be asked to put away their chromebooks and other technology during the school day. The goal is to encourage students to be present, engaged, and connected with the people and learning happening around them.

We know technology is an important part of our world, but we also believe there is tremendous value in taking a break from screens and focusing on conversation, relationships, learning, and being part of our school community.

We appreciate your support as we begin this initiative and look forward to making each No Tech Day a positive experience for our students and staff.
