An awesome opportunity has opened up for us to make an impact in the lives of Albright students.
In the words of Adrie Neal, "This program speaks directly to what SOBA was initially created to assist with, the retention of the black students at Albright. Our hope is that we all (the steering committee and the entire SOBA community) take this opportunity to connect with the students and to gradually foster a sense of community on campus and amongst our fellow alumni."

Did you know that Albright now has an organization that is creating empowering spaces for Black women on campus? 😍
SOBA sends a shoutout and congratulations to the Black Women Leadership Association on their recent event, "Texture Talk" to help students on campus learn some styles for textured hair!💁🏿‍♀️ Keep up the great work.

Today is a shoutout to all the gamechangers who have led the way for Black people around the globe!
Let's continue their legacy of making room for others at the tables that matter.

It's easy to get wrapped up in how much time has passed or how much time we have in the future, but it's important to remember to live in the present!
