As the 26-27 school year approaches we want to acknowledge and celebrate Janet Smith, long time assistant for BOOST on 10th year with the district!

Janet has worked at a few different sites over the years, but Raymore BOOST has been her home.

You can find Ms. Janet playing cards or putting a puzzle together in the mornings with the students.

Our BOOST students recently had the amazing opportunity to witness something truly special — baby chicks hatching! Through our incubator project, students were able to observe the entire process, from incubation to the moment the chicks broke through their shells.

This hands-on experience allowed students to learn about the life cycle of animals, responsibility, and how to care for the chicks once they arrived. The excitement and curiosity in the room were unforgettable as students watched new life begin right before their eyes.

Moments like these make learning come alive at BOOST!
