ATTENTION PARENTS AND STUDENTS: We are currently revising our reopening plan based on the new guidelines from Governor Reeves. We will share additional details, including the new start date for students, soon. Thank you for your patience as we work to keep all of our students, faculty, and staff safe.

We have developed three reopening schedules to ensure the health and safety of our school community.
1. Traditional Schedules will be provided for PK-8th Grade (All students are attending school in-person).
2. Hybrid Schedules will be provided for 9th -12th Grades (All students attending in-person on assigned days are virtual on assigned days).
3. Distance Learning/Virtual Schedules will be provided for students deemed by physicians as being “medically fragile” and for other students whose parents request such a schedule and commit to supporting it. (Students “log into” and join their classrooms 5 days per week, strictly adhering to the schedule followed by the traditional students). For more information, visit https://buff.ly/2DvgjT0

Today, the Hinds County School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve the district’s reopening plan for the 2020-2021 school year. The July 1 deadline for 2020 - 2021 enrollment is quickly approaching. All new enrollee parents are asked to visit buff.ly/2W1qjM8 to start the new student enrollment process. Parent of returning students, please visit buff.ly/2CgxbvZ. Active student codes were mailed with student final report cards. If you do not have a code, please contact your school. The Mississippi Department of Education has given flexibility with our scheduling so that we can comply with the Department of Health and the CDC guidelines for managing the COVID-19 outbreak.
