Transportation RFP

The Raymond School District will receive sealed bids for providing school bus transportation for the Raymond School District for five (5) years, with an optional two (2) year extension. The contractor and the Superintendent of Schools with the Raymond School Board shall in good faith negotiate the terms of compensation and length of said extension. All bids must be received in the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, 43 Harriman Hill Road, Raymond, NH 03077, no later than 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read in the Superintendent’s Office on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 2:00 PM.

Three (3) copies of each bid are to be sealed in an envelope, plainly marked with the name of the company submitting the bid and the phrase “School Bus Transportation Bid” to appear on the outside of the envelope. All bids are to be typewritten.

Wellness Committee Membership

Raymond parents and community members are invited to participate in our District Wellness Committee. This committee will conduct school-level assessments, create an action plan and report, and make recommendations to updates for our wellness policy.

Search Committee for Technology Director Being Formed

The Superintendent of Schools is establishing a search committee for the position of Technology Director. This committee will include teachers (one of which must be an REA member), support staff, administration, parents, and one school board member. Committee meetings are expected to be scheduled during the week of August 24, 2026, times TBD.

Employees interested in serving on the committee, please let Jennifer Heywood know by 12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

Parents interested in serving on the committee, please submit a letter of interest by 12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Note that letters of interest submitted by parents will be reviewed by the School Board and parent membership on the committee will be named by the School Board.
