International Food and Culture class explored Thailand and Korea this week and made Pad Thai (most were not too keen on it), Korean Potatoes and Soy Sauce (they liked these), and Korean Cinnamon Ginger Punch (a definite thumbs up on this)! The kids are loving to explore other countries and cuisine as the school year progresses! Me, too! Of course they have fun during their travels as well as you can see Great group! 🇹🇭🇰🇵🇰🇷🥢🍽️😋

Business and Marketing students visited Raising Cane’s today! They learned background information on the business through an educational website about Economic Innovations and Marvels before they went! Store Leader Dustin talked to the kids on the store history, products, customer service, marketing, sponsorships, communication service, and so much more! The kids were awesome! They had great questions for Dustin! So proud of them! After Dustin’s presentation, they enjoyed some chicken! 🐔 💖

International Foods and Culture kids have been in Asia, especially Japan! They did various Discovering Japan Projects! Food Magazine! Culture and Food! We even had a YouTube Video about Japan! First time for this project and it got rave reviews from the kids! They added so much “extra” information as they shared their work with classmates! So proud of them! 💪🥳🇯🇵🎌🗾🏯💴🥳💪

The Marketing Class learned about marketing through the world of radio today thanks to C-R Graduate Class of 1982, Rex Bibler aka “RexHoward in the Morning”! They also met “The Big Kahuna” on 106.3! Toured the facility! Met people in advertising, business, imaging, and the general manager of it all! Saw sponsorship boards for sports and upcoming events! Saw “The Rack” the technology and wires that puts it all together! Thanks Rex for hosting us today and educating us on the world of radio and marketing! 📻🎉🥳

Intro to FCS 8th graders made the famous Farmhouse BBQ Muffins! Yesterday they prepped … learned to brown hamburger, get rid of extra grease in the hamburger, make homemade BBQ sauce, and work with canned biscuits! Today we baked them and enjoyed them! They continue to be a favorite recipe to make! 🎉🥳
