Good Afternoon RMS Families,

As the end of the first day of school wraps up we wanted to provide a quick reminder and update on parent pick up and bus loading. Families if you are picking your student up please park in the west parking lot in between the middle school and the high school football field. Please do not park in the bus loop by the athletic and student entrance as this is where all of the buses will be loading students. Additionally please do not park in front of the building due to another bus load zone. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter, we know this is a busy time of day and want to ensure all students are safe and traffic flow is efficient.

We also wanted to remind families that at the start of the day parent drop off is at the front of the building and all bus drop off is in the bus loop. Please stay clear out the bus loop from the following times; 8:00 - 8:30 am and 3:30 - 4:00 pm.

RMS School Supplies List

*Please see attachment for RMS whole school supplies list.

*We are trying something new this year with our snacks. Snack duty will be by grade levels this year per trimester. 8th grade has trimester #1 snack duty. Please provide semi healthy snacks, ideas include granola bars, cheese sticks, applesauce packs, trail mix etc.

*The PE & Health Department Team would like to remind students and families to have PE clothes (gym shorts and shirt) and appropriate PE shoes for the gym and weight room. Each student will have PE/Health/Weights each Trimester and will be given an additional locker in the locker rooms in addition to their hallway locker.

We would like to congratulate the Rawlins Renegades U16 Baseball Team on becoming the 2026 Wyoming Senior League State Champions!

They will be representing the state of Wyoming, in Oakland California, on July 22-28.
