Have you ever wondered what it would take to be a lineman? Now is your chance to find out! Join our CTE Coordinator Heidi Helm on a trip to WWCC to spend the day learning about the program and even gearing up to climb the poles.

Spaces are limited. Upperclassmen get first dibs but Sophomores and Freshmen are encouraged to stop by and get their names on the list. This is a great opportunity to learn about a new career pathway.

Students are asked to wear jeans, long sleeve and wear appropriate closed toe shoes. No slides, slip ons, sandals or Hey Dudes. There is a 250 lb weight limit to climb the poles.

CCSD #1 is excited to announce an expansion to the Summer Food Service Program! In addition to the on-site weekday feeding (Monday - Thursday), we are now offering weekend meal pickups to ensure our community's children have access to nutritious food all week long. If you're interested, please fill out the survey that was sent out March 30, 2026 via email.

Weekend Meal Pickup Details

When: Every Thursday (while the Summer program is running)
Where: Rotary Park (located by Pizza Hut, Rawlins, WY)
Age: Available for all children ages 2 to 18.

Program Eligibility

We've made the process as simple as possible to ensure no child goes hungry:

No Red Tape: No application or proof of income is required.

Convenience: Parents or guardians can pick up meals for all children in their household.

Open Enrollment: Students do not need to be enrolled in a specific school district to participate.
