Update regarding event to honor Tracy Thomas Jenkins: The get together for this Saturday, Nov 30th had to be cancelled. Hopefully next year we can all get together and have a drink and share our memories about Tracy. Please let everyone know. Thank you.

Class of '87 Pirates - Kris Honeck's younger brother, Tim Honeck, passed away on Sunday after a three year battle with cancer. Below is the obituary. Please keep Kris and all of his family in your thoughts and prayers.

CLASS OF '87 Pirates - As you make your plans for this upcoming week....keep in mind this event that is happening this coming Friday, August 16th!

As a prequel to our Saturday 8/17 Southeast Pirates Class of 1988- 25th class reunion... the planning committee wants to invite ALL friends, classmates and ALL ALUMNI to meet Friday 8/16 at Nick Miller's Barrel Run Crossing winery (3272 Industry Rd, Rootstown, OH). Meeting time 6pm-10pm, 50/50 drawing, bring an appetizer to share and maybe a chair. Hope to see you there!! Entertainment provided by the winery (well I am sure some of our old friends will be "entertaining" after a few glasses of wine or hard cider)....sorry no outside alcohol. We can't wait to see everyone. hope a lot of different graduating classes come especially 1985 thru 1992. 🍷🍷cheers!

Southeast Class of '87 - Reminder about Gift card wreath for Steve Earnest: Hi everyone! This is just a reminder, if you haven't sent in your gift card donations to Debbie, please do it this week! I know everyone is busy with the holidays, but let's not forget that Steve and his family need our help to enjoy their holidays. This is the time of year when everyone is asking you to give, but Steve is one of our own and that makes it even more personal! We'd really like to make this gift card wreath special and we can't do that without help from all of you. Steve is getting stronger every day and hopes to come home in the next couple of weeks...he is currently in rehab....but he still has a long road in front of him. I know he and his wife, Tami, will appreciate anything we can do for them. Please help us to make this special! Thanks so much!

CALL FOR HELP - SOUTHEAST CLASS OF '87: As many of you probably know by now, one of our own, Steve Earnest was critically injured last Saturday, November 10th. He was crushed by a combine head at his home and was lifeflighted to Akron City. He is very lucky to be alive. He is in the process of undergoing numerous surgeries to fix his broken spine (no cord damage), broken hip, broken ribcage and collapsed lungs. He also continues to have swelling in his head. There is a “Farmer’s Breakfast” benefit to help him and his family on Sunday, December 30th. However, the Class of ’87 would like to separately put together a gift card wreath for Steve and his family and deliver it to them before Christmas! We ask everyone in the Class of ’87 to contribute something so we can help out Steve and his family. Debbie Grace Zoller has kindly offered to accept all the donations, put the wreath together and deliver it to Steve and his family. Please inbox her if you are willing to contribute. We would like to have all donations given by Saturday, December 8th! We want to let Steve know that the Class of ’87 is praying for his full recovery and we have his back!

Hey everyone! We are trying to put a video montage together for our Class Reunion. I have pictures from our 20th and then a lot of my personal pictures from high school. It's a good start but not a lot so if you have some fun photos to share, please email them to my personal email: [email protected] and I'll get them incorporated. Also....if you have any baby photos of yourself, send those. If we get enough, we can do a "guess who this is" contest.
