We went to GR today to visit the Manufacturing Expo at DeVos Place. We learned some new stuff, got some freebies and found some items we might be able to use on future robots. We also tried to make contacts with some potential future sponsors. A picture of the kids at the expo, lunch at the Chinese Buffet on the way home and a little AI on our new uniforms for next year 😁. Thanks to Jim Wilde for getting us signed up and showing us around the expo.

The Bionic Bulldogs participated in the Ravenna Lions Club / Ravenna Dog Daze/Cruise Night by hosting a booth where the young or old could drive, test and shoot our Crescendo season and our Rapid React season robots. Successfully make a basket or ringing a post won competitors a free soda pop. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and chatted or played along.

The robotics kids have been meeting on Monday nights this summer and have been working on and improving their robot from this past season. They will be using the robot in two fall practice events. They have learned and fixed several things which have improved the performance of the robot significantly. It's kind of tedious sometimes but they have discovered how small changes can make a big difference. They have also been prepping a couple of old robots to show off and use at Dog Daze this week. Hope to see you there.
