The FFA Chapter is hosting a barbeque at the VFW park at 7:00. This is a mandatory meeting for all current members and an opportunity to join for any new comers! We hope to see you there!

The Ravenna FFA Chapter had an extremely successful trip to State FFA Convention this week!! We had 16 High School Members attend all 3 days and 7 Junior High Members attend on Thursday. Our Floriculture Team competed well but came up short of of making the stage. Connor Paitz received his State Degree on Friday!! We had a great time and are excited for the future!! Special Shout Outs to Eric Miller and Jillian and Ryan Wendt for being our chaperones for this busy event. Also to Mr. Maulsby for his help getting a plan together for the week!! We appreciate everything that everyone has done to help us pull this off!!

On Thursday we hosted a Petting Zoo for the RPS Elementary students. We had a fantastic day for this event. Shoutout to Ostermeyer's, Morrow's and Wedemeyer's for providing the animals for this event!!

On Wednesday, the FFA Chapter provided breakfast for the entire RPS staff. We served around 80 breakfast burritos during this event. We greatly appreciate everything that the staff does for our program on a day to day basis and this was a great way to show our appreciation!! Shoutout to Todd Van Winkle for bringing his Blackstone and playing chef for the morning!!

Last Week was National FFA Week at RPS!! We kicked off the week on Monday by delivering cookies to 10 businesses in Ravenna!! A lot of the businesses that we delivered to are businesses that have helped us this year in some way!! We really appreciate all of the support from these businesses and look foward to a continued partnership!!

Tuesday we competed in District 8 CDEs at Grand Island Central Community College. We had an extremely successful day for having a fairly young group of kids. The results are listed below.

Here is our updated schedule for FFA Week. This will take place from February 24th to February 28th!! We will have our FFA Picture on Thursday the February 27th during ACCESS!!

ATTENTION:

Due to the pending weather for this week, we have decided to postpone FFA Week to next week. The Official Dress picture will also be moved to next week. We will have to make some adjustments to the schedule since we have District CDEs in Kearney on Tuesday. We will work on reposting the new schedule and try to have it shared with everyone by the end of the school day today!!

ATTENTION:

Due to the 10 o’clock late start we will be postponing the FFA group picture to Tuesday!! Therefore all FFA members will need to wear their Official Dress to school on Tuesday!! Also if school is canceled tomorrow we will not be delivering cookies to businesses. If we have a late start we will still plan on delivering cookies!!
