Due to staffing, we unfortunately will not be open for Open/Lap swim today, Friday 7/31. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to seeing everyone Monday.

Due to the flooding, all RCS buildings have been closed for the day. We look forward to seeing everyone back tomorrow.

We have great news! We will be back open on our previously published schedule as of tomorrow, Wednesday 7/29. We will also only need to shut down for 1 week in August this year rather than the normal 2 weeks for maintenance. That schedule will be posted soon!

Good evening, we wish there was better news but our electrician spent a good amount of time today working on getting the pumps back running but found that we needed to order a new controller. Unfortunately, this means the Aquatics Center will have to remain closed until the new parts arrive and are installed.

It’s a good news, bad news evening at the Aquatics Center. National Grid was able to complete repairs today and power has been restored to the high school. Unfortunately, the controller for the pool pumps appears to have been damaged by or during the power outage. We spent the afternoon attempting to get the pumps restarted without success. We will continue to work on this issue tomorrow but unfortunately will need to remain closed at least through tomorrow, 7/9.

We know this is not the news anyone wanted to hear tonight, but we truly appreciate your patience during this event.

Good evening, we unfortunately do not have good news. National Grid is still on the scene at the high school working to repair the underground lines that feed power to the building. We are hopeful they will be able to complete the repairs tomorrow so that we can reopen on Thursday.

Good evening, we have some bad news. National Grid has been working tirelessly trying to restore power to the high school without success. They will be continuing to work but do not anticipate restoration until at least sometime tomorrow. Once power is restored, we will need at least 6-12 hours to get the pool up, running and balanced before we can safely reopen. Because of this, the Aquatics Center will remain closed through at least Tuesday 7/7.
