🌞 Summer Reading Program Update! 🌞

Yesterday was a great first day of Summer Reading! We had a lot of fun and are excited to spend the month learning and growing with your students.

If your student is no longer planning to attend Summer Reading, please let me know as soon as possible so we can make any needed adjustments to our class lists and transportation. You can email me ([email protected]) or call me Longfellow (575-445-9261)

We also have some fun attendance incentives this summer! Students who have perfect attendance each week will be entered into a prize drawing. We have some great prizes and can't wait to celebrate our students for showing up and doing their best!

Lastly, Longfellow's normal drop-off and pick-up procedures have resumed. Students can now be dropped off and picked up on the north side of the building as usual.

Hi Summer Reading Families!

Just a reminder that Summer Reading begins tomorrow, June 1, 2026, at 8:00 AM at Longfellow Elementary.

Student drop-off will be in the front of the building near the bus lanes. Due to custodial staff cleaning the north side of the building, please plan to use the front entrance for drop-off.

Below is the transportation schedule. Please note that pickup and drop-off times may vary by a few minutes as drivers become familiar with the route.

If you did not sign up for transportation but would like to, please contact Ms. Mikki as soon as possible.

We are excited to see everyone tomorrow and kick off a great summer of learning!
