I’m excited to share a free community opportunity for parents of students in grades 7-12 who want clear, practical information about what comes after high school.
The Idaho College and Career Association (of which I am a member of), in partnership with Kootenai Health, is offering a series called Within Reach - designed specifically for parents who want to better understand college, career, and financial planning options for their students.
👉 The first session is tonight:
Wednesday, February 11 from 3:30-4:30 PM
These sessions are:
• Free and open to the public
• One hour long
• Focused on real, helpful information (not sales pitches)
• Led by experienced college and career professionals
Topics include:
--Understanding the financial aid process
-Having meaningful career conversations with your teen
-Learning how to maximize Idaho state programs and funding, starting as early as middle school
All sessions are held at the Kootenai Services Building (Bear Lake Conference Room), and families may attend one or all sessions, whatever works best for your schedule.
Please see the attached flyer for full details and the QR code to register. This is a great opportunity to feel more confident and prepared as your student begins planning for life after high school.
